little pumpkin!

I love this outfit. I didn't think it would be hot enough to wear it in October but the weather decided otherwise.
Karoline went for her 1 year shots today. She weighs 19lbs 11oz and is 29" tall.
I didn't even see what percentile she was in b/c I was concerned with other things like....ANOTHER EAR INFECTION. yes it switched ears again and we aren't even done with the antibiotics from last week. So we switched to ANOTHER antibiotic.

So....this post is also for Uncle Jay. We have been meaning to switch to USA Drug for a while. I have been going to Walgreens out of convenience(mainly b/c there was one close to work and home) but with the awesome USA drug in Bryant and Jay's complaints I decided to make the switch. My brother-in-law is a buyer for USA Drug so it is pretty sad that I haven't switched before now. SORRY JAY!!!!!! these pics are for you!

happy birthday karoline!

Well our little cupcake turned 1 on Saturday! It is hard to believe. This has been the most amazing year. I never knew a child could bring this much joy to your life. Karoline, you are such a blessing and we look forward to many fun filled years ahead!!! Happy Birthday! We love you!

Here are a few pics from her party! It turned out great. We had a few friends over. Tony had the tv set up outside to watch the Razorback game on pay-per view.
The weather was nice so we spent a lot of time outside.
We grilled out and filled ourselves on sweets and snacks. Yummy!
Karoline was completely spoiled. She got so many wonderful toys and clothes.

Well this is about as much as she dug into it. She didn't want to get messy. I really thought she would have wanted to get all in the cake but apparently not. I think the icing wasn't her favorite. She loved the cake when I baked it and was crying for more. She is probably going to be like her dad and like cake with no icing.

1 yr pics part II

yet another dreaded......EAR INFECTION!!!!

Well we just got off a round of antibiotics on thursday for an ear infection in the right ear(that we never got rid of a few weeks before this). Now... K has one in the left ear.
Poor thing! Her nose was pouring so I decided to take her in. I knew he probably couldn't do much for her nose but wanted to double check her ear. Well that ear was better but ear #2 wanted a turn. She was snoring in her crib a minute ago and i just couldn't resist taking a picture.

We had Karolines picture taken on Saturday. Paige Horras was our photographer and she did an awesome job. We couldn't have asked for better weather and Karoline was pretty cooperative. Anyway... here are the few that we got to see so far. Can't wait to see the rest.
