Biding farewell to ear infections....we hope!

Feeling good!

I'm OKAY!

Karoline had tubes put in her ears this morning. We haven't been able to kick these terrible ear infections she has has for the past few months. I know that it is going to make a huge difference for her. She has been such a trooper through all the pain. The procedure was fast, we were in and out in no time at all. I had full confidence in Dr. Gardner and lots of people praying for her so i wasn't even stressed out. The worst part was when she was coming out of the anesthesia... I just wasn't prepared for her to be all limp and with no head control. She started crying, kicking her legs and throwing her head and body around but her eyes were still closed. Very hard to control her. She cried for about 30 or 45 minutes and fell asleep in the car. When we got home she was in the best mood and has been ALL day. Thanks to everyone for keeping her in your prayers. It sure worked!!!!!!!!!

a few examples!

These are a couple things I ordered from Uppercase Living that Barri sells. It looks cuter in person. If you are interested I have her site linked in the top right of my blog.

Karolines door(of course I forgot her door had panels so it didn't fit exactly like I would have liked).
Karolines monogram. I had been wanting to paint this for a while. This was SO much faster and easier.

My front door. Sorry about the ghetto wreath....you get the picture.

13 month pics

decided we are going to keep taking the monthly pics on the chair with mr. bear.
Just a good gage to see how she has grown and forces me to at least post once a month.

New Froo!

Rachel and I ordered these cute hats for Karoline and Addelyn off of Etsy. Karolines came with a big pink peony. They also had some with bows so I'm trying to mix it up. We have been having fun dressing our little dolls up. K isn't thrilled about hers but will have to get used to it. Rach will have to post pics of Adde in hers.
It looked cuter in person.

Sorry AUNT NITTY!!!!!!

I was making pumpkin muffins(no eggs!) and let K lick the bowl. It was so funny to watch her and I was loving the fact that it kept her occupied so I could cook dinner. See I am normally pretty good about moving her chair away from the counter but... I forgot and she got spatula happy and knocked over Aunt Nittys big bowl we were babysitting. Sorry Aunt Nitty!!!! She cried when it happened if it makes you feel any better. We love you!!!!

having a GREAT time!

disaster strikes!

this is for extra pity credit! I feel sick aunt nitty! don't be mad! my ears hurt!!!!!

babies and dolls

Karoline has a baby doll that Aunt Melissa gave her and she loves it SO much. It just amazes me the instinct that she has to love on her baby doll. It is the cutest thing to watch and see how we are born with that motherly instinct. Anyway... she played with a doll stroller like this at the Reddin's house and just loved it. Granna and Poppa gave her a gift card to Target so this is what we got. As you can see she thinks it is for her and not her baby. She hasn't quite figured how to push it without falling over. Just too funny! So much for the motherly instinct, she doesn't really want to share with her baby at ALL. She kept throwing her out and climbing in(and falling over).

Halloween Festivities and a few randoms

Strawberry Shortcake(not nearly as cute as Nikki looked in this costume)

My Bunko Group

We let Karoline try and feed herself. She had a blast. Only a few bites ended up in her mouth.

Just thought this was funny!

Our precious Zebra!
Checking out festivities in town.

She loved her costume!

Tony dressed up as a 10 key(accountants you know...)

At work we were beauty queens. Miss Match...etc...

Sassy had to come see Karoline before we went trick or treating

Trick or Treating at Aunt Erins house. Lots of yummy goodies!

Taking a break with dad on the couch.
Aunt Jan and Uncle Jays house. Enjoying sliding up and down the step. The costume padding came in handy.

Hanging out at the Stogsdills. Karoline found a new buddy. Lola was so sweet to let her hang all over her.
