More Pictures of Karolines Room

Well we got a lot done this weekend. There are a few more projects on our list but the major stuff is done. Now I can just put my mind to the fun stuff...decorating the room, etc..
Here are a few more pictures with some of the furniture and bedding in place. The colors are a lot brighter in these photos for some reason. I promise we aren't trying to blind her the second she enters her room for the first time.

Painting Karolines Room

Well I couldn't resist going ahead and posting a couple pictures of the room in progress. Tony just looked too cute in there painting and I was ready to get the pic of me off the top of my page. As you can see we picked a "great green" color for the room... no really that is the name of the color. I think it is going to look really cute with everything else in the room. We had some help with the painting earlier.. Michael Ferguson one of Tony's friends came by to help. Barri and Justin were out walking and happened to get sucked into the fun as well.
I'm also adding a picture of the chair that I recovered for those of you who have been asking about it. It is a lot cuter in person. Thanks Aunt Margot for the chair... I've had it since Jen and I lived in Starlight at OBU. I just keep recovering and painting it! Looks like new. Well, I wouldn't have been able to have a hot pink chair any other way. I'm too practical when making huge purchases. :)

22 weeks

okay this picture is so erin and rachel will stop bugging me about not putting belly pictures on my blog. Can't say that I ever feel like I want to post a pic of myself on here. Sorry about the look on my face.
I am in my 22nd week so i'm over half way now. Crazy how fast it has gone by so far.

Father's Day Weekend/Nikki's 23rd Birthday!

We had a wonderful weekend! We went to Arkadelphia Friday night and got to spend a little time with Mom and Dad before they flew to Salt Lake City for a Rotary Conference on Sat. Saturday we got to spend the day with Tony's parents as well as Ashley, Carly and Carson. We headed back to Arkadelphia for a wedding Saturday night. Sunday morning Tony, Britt and I woke Nikki up like the "good ole days" singing happy birthday with the birthday cake and presents(sorry..those pics won't make the blog...we are scary creatures that early in the morning). Jan(and Lucy), Tony, Sean, Dillon, Tony and I celebrated Niks birthday with a great cookout. After lunch the rest of the gang, minus Mom and Dad were able to be there so we really had fun sitting around the backyard talking while the boys played wiffle ball and had a us open of their own in the back yard. We had a wonderful time with both of our families...wish it could have been longer.
