Pumpkin Patch

Our church preschool dept. took a trip to the pumpkin patch this morning.
It was a lot of fun but pretty cold. Karoline was a trooper even with icy cold hands.

We went to the Zoo on Saturday. We decided Karoline was a bit young for the Boo at the Zoo events they have at night so we went during the day instead. The weather was wonderful and she enjoyed the animals more than the last time we went to the zoo.

i didn't post karolines 1 year pics with the good ole bear so i thought instead i would do a recap on how much she has grown. it just blows my mind....i can't remember her being that small. what a fun and wonderful year!

I love this outfit. I didn't think it would be hot enough to wear it in October but the weather decided otherwise.
Karoline went for her 1 year shots today. She weighs 19lbs 11oz and is 29" tall.
I didn't even see what percentile she was in b/c I was concerned with other things like....ANOTHER EAR INFECTION. yes it switched ears again and we aren't even done with the antibiotics from last week. So we switched to ANOTHER antibiotic.

So....this post is also for Uncle Jay. We have been meaning to switch to USA Drug for a while. I have been going to Walgreens out of convenience(mainly b/c there was one close to work and home) but with the awesome USA drug in Bryant and Jay's complaints I decided to make the switch. My brother-in-law is a buyer for USA Drug so it is pretty sad that I haven't switched before now. SORRY JAY!!!!!! these pics are for you!

Well our little cupcake turned 1 on Saturday! It is hard to believe. This has been the most amazing year. I never knew a child could bring this much joy to your life. Karoline, you are such a blessing and we look forward to many fun filled years ahead!!! Happy Birthday! We love you!

Here are a few pics from her party! It turned out great. We had a few friends over. Tony had the tv set up outside to watch the Razorback game on pay-per view.
The weather was nice so we spent a lot of time outside.
We grilled out and filled ourselves on sweets and snacks. Yummy!
Karoline was completely spoiled. She got so many wonderful toys and clothes.

Well this is about as much as she dug into it. She didn't want to get messy. I really thought she would have wanted to get all in the cake but apparently not. I think the icing wasn't her favorite. She loved the cake when I baked it and was crying for more. She is probably going to be like her dad and like cake with no icing.
